Football Queensland (FQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Briac Williams as Technical Development Manager for South West Queensland.
The appointment aligns with the recently-released 2020-2022 Strategic Plan for football in Queensland, which outlines a focus on bettering the experience for all involved in the game across the state.
In addition to holding a Diploma in Sports Management, Williams has served as the QAS/BRFC NTC girls team’s assistant coach for the last three years and is currently finalising his AFC B licence.
He will be supported in his role by David Nugent as part-time Game Development Officer in the South West Queensland zone.
Over the next three years, FQ will focus on increasing the number of referees and coaches in Queensland through greater support and development, and will endeavour to provide high-quality participation experiences and opportunities across the state.
