Almost 800 Queenslanders will begin the road to Football Queensland E-Series glory when the hugely popular new competition explodes into life this weekend.
The First Group Stage has now been drawn and registered competitors until 11:59pm this Sunday, 5 April to complete their opening games.
Following this initial phase, a Second Group Stage will further reduce the field before the superstars come to the fore in the Knockout Stage.
An incredible 780 people from across the state are set to take part in the FQ E-Series competition.
The immense interest means four divisions have been drawn up across two gaming platforms: PS4 Seniors, PS4 Juniors, Xbox Seniors and Xbox Juniors.
Entrants will be representing their local club and region throughout the tournament and will be divided into either SEQ pools or regional pools during the First Group Stage.
Making a flying start could prove crucial with competitors to play one match against each of the opponents in their pool.
Football Queensland will chart the wins, draws and defeats and social media coverage will be dedicated to delivering the best highlights and storylines.
The inaugural FQ E-Series has been developed to supply a fun football fix for fans and participants during the sport’s forced suspension amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is essential for all competitors to read and comply with the FQ E-Series Competition Rules, which outline the match settings, result confirmation procedure, live streaming plans and more.
Every game must be scheduled and completed inside a three-day window, beginning from the end of the previous match window.
