Football Queensland is pleased to confirm the date and venue for a Gold Coast Club Summit this month as part of the Future of Football 2020+ consultation process.
Clubs, referees and coaches from the region are invited to attend the Club Summit, to be held at the Croatian Sports Centre on Monday, 27 July from 6pm to 8:30pm and hosted by FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci.
“The Future of Football 2020+ Club Summit follows successful visits to Cairns and Townsville, where there was plenty of constructive discussion about the future of our game amongst the groups in attendance,” Cavallucci said.
“We look forward to hearing from the Gold Coast football community next as we continue this extensive consultation process around the state.”
“The upcoming Club Summit on the Gold Coast is a valuable opportunity for our clubs, referees and coaches to engage in discussion around key areas of the game,” Football Gold Coast General Manager Damien Bresic said.
“We encourage our Gold Coast members to register their attendance at the Club Summit, and to take this opportunity to help shape the future of football in the state.”
