Football Queensland (FQ) has today launched the FQ Masters League for 2021, opening up the opportunity for all affiliated football clubs on Brisbane’s northside to now register.
The FQ Masters League provides clubs and members with an extremely affordable, high quality, insured and accessible home and away competition format spanning Women’s Over 35s, Men’s Over 35s and Men’s Over 45s divisions.
Benefits to clubs additionally include the ability to streamline team administration, processes and systems, with FQ to oversee competition management and fixturing.
The FQ nomination and competition fees applicable for clubs to enter the FQ Masters League are detailed below. Clubs are permitted to set their own individual team and player sign-up fees.
- Team Nomination Fee: $180 per team
- Player Registration Fee: $100 per player in each team (15 players*)
- Estimated total team cost: $1680
FQ delivers the competition on Brisbane’s northside as part of a broader Masters Football structure incorporating Queensland Masters Football (QMF), delivered by Lions FC on Brisbane’s southside.
Aligning with FQ’s Strategic Plan commitment to provide participation opportunities for all Queenslanders, the FQ Masters League supports clubs in building their playing numbers and club culture.
For the first time, every single affiliated club in Brisbane now has the opportunity to enter a fully sanctioned, affiliated and professionally delivered Masters Football competition.
