Feature matches:
Holland Park Hawks v SWQ Thunder
Fresh from a thrilling 4-3 FFA Cup win over The Lakes FC, Holland Park Hawks host SWQ Thunder at Whites Hill Reserve on Saturday evening.
The Hawks will be searching for their third win in a row after beating The Lakes in the FFA Cup and Mitchelton FC in Round 3 of the FQPL 1 season.
Three Hawks players – Umaru Sheriff, Andoni Koulouris and Giorgio Anastasi – were named in the Round 3 FQPL 1 Team of the Week, with Anastasi scoring both goals in the win over Mitchelton.
Meanwhile, SWQ Thunder will be looking to get its season back on track after going down 1-0 to Brisbane City at home in Round 3.
It was the first time SWQ Thunder have been held scoreless this season, but the Toowoomba side bounced back in the best way possible last Saturday night with a 4-1 win over Western Pride in the FFA Cup.
A win for Holland Park would bring them level with SWQ Thunder on six points, while the Thunder will be looking to bridge the gap with league leaders Brisbane City.

Samford Rangers v Taringa Rovers
Taringa Rovers will travel to Samford on Friday night eager to make it back-to-back wins after last week’s 7-0 demolition job of Virginia United.
The comfortable win featured a four-goal haul from Sean Karambasis, who managed to squeeze all four into a stunning 10-minute window in the second half.
It was a spellbinding performance from Karambasis, who is tipped by FQ commentator Campbell Johnson to take out the Golden Boot and Player of the Season awards this year.
Keeping Karambasis at bay will be the first order of business for Samford Rangers, which registered its first win of the season last weekend against Gold Coast side Coomera Colts.
The Rangers did well to come back from a goal down against the Colts, with quick-fire goals to Josh Campbell, Jack Panter and Dane Forsyth enough to secure the club’s first win of the season.
With Taringa and Samford both expected to be top four sides, expect a close game tomorrow night to kick off the FQPL 2 weekend.
