Football Queensland is aware of a serious incident at Mitchelton Football Club today, Sunday 25 July 2021.  

We share the concerns of the club and wider football community and our thoughts are with the family, and members of the club who were present.  

Football Queensland will be providing counselling and support services to the family of the individual involved, club members including players and coaches, referees and volunteers, and those who witnessed the incident. 

The club will be closed and all football activities cancelled for the rest of the day while investigations are carried out.
