Football Queensland has today released the 2022 draws for the NPL and FQPL Junior Boys, NPL Junior Girls and FQ Academy competitions across South East Queensland.
As part of the implementation of the Future of Football 2020+ reforms, the new football pyramid will deliver connected competitions across the state, providing brand new opportunities for players and clubs.
The 2022 Advanced Junior Boys structure will include the addition of a new FQPL Development league to complement the existing NPL Boys structure that consists of the NPL Academy and the NPL Development.
The 2022 season will also see clubs within the previous SAP Leagues transition to new FQ Academy leagues, with the introduction of the FQ Academy to provide a clearer development pathway from community football to Australia’s national teams and professional leagues.
In 2022, the Advanced Junior Girls competitions will continue within the existing NPL Girls (U14 and U16) structure and sit above the Community Girls structure, allowing for future movement between leagues as determined by club assessments that consider technical outcomes and other related factors.
The 2022 draws for the NPL and FQPL Juniors and FQ Academy (SEQ) competitions are now available to view via SportsTG.
