A big weekend of action awaits us as the FQPL 3 Men’s and Women’s competitions continue in full swing. Some midweek cup games might have an impact on teams but here is a preview of what to expect.
FQPL 3 South Coast Men’s
Kingscliff and Broadbeach square off on Friday night to kick off the weekend south of the border. The Dolphins are in a good run of form of late and will be looking to continue their momentum against a Wolves team who are eager to get a win. Saturday afternoon sees a packed schedule with a crucial fixture for both Runaway Bay and Tallebudgera as both sides look for their first points of the 2022 year. Nerang host their first fixture of the year against a Robina side looking to bounce back after dropping points last week and losing midweek in the cup. The late kick off sees a huge match up between Palm Beach and Musgrave as the Sharks look to continue to stamp their mark on the competition.
Sunday afternoon action sees Burleigh host Southport with both sides eager to build on their results last weekend and continue their push in 2022.
FQPL 3 South Coast Women’s
Both Magic and Palm Beach will look to continue where they started last week and mount their second win of the season when they face off on Monday night. Defending league champions Musgrave get their first crack at the newly branded competition and will feel confident of getting the job done against Robina away from home.
Fresh off their big win against Kingscliff the Mudgeeraba Wallabies will be hoping to continue their good form in front of goal when they host Broadbeach at Sid Bigg Park.
Kingscliff have the bye in round 3 action.
