The weeks keep coming thick and fast across South Coast action in the FQPL 3 competitions. Here is a brief preview of what we can expect from this week’s action!
Men’s
League leaders Robina will face a tough test against Southport in another big game for both sides. A win for Southport could condense the table even further after one third of the competition complete. Broadbeach will be eager to get back in the win column after back to back losses when they host struggling Musgrave who have had a tough run in the last few games. Palm Beach will host Tallebudgera with the Tigers coming into the clash after a week off due to COVID protocols and hoping to find their feet in the competition. Burleigh and Kingscliff lock horns in an important game for both sides with the Bulldogs earning two big wins last week to put themselves in top four contention. Nerang will be hoping to build off their recent performances when they host Runaway Bay on Sunday afternoon and try and get their first points of the season.
Women’s
League leaders Magic have the bye this weekend as the chasing pack will look to make up some ground, starting with Musgrave travelling to Palm Beach looking to get back in the winners circle after a narrow loss to Broadbeach last week. The Dolphins host Kingscliff who are yet to get a point this year with Mudgeeraba and Robina both squaring off hoping to get some much needed points at this point in the season.
