Another weekend of FQPL 3 Metro action is locked in as the teams start getting closer to the halfway point of the season! Here is a brief preview of what we can expect!
FQPL 3 Men’s
Centenary and Western Spirit kick things off on Friday night with both teams needing a win to stay in touch with the top end of the table. Failure to do so could see them stuck in the middle pack for the remainder of the season. Mt Gravatt welcome league leaders St George Willawong hoping to cause an upset and get themselves closer to the middle pack. An all important fixture for finals and league contention will be on show when Toowong host Pine Hills at Dunmore Park. Newmarket have been in good form of late and will be confident of continuing that against UQFC away from home. The Lakes will hope that they can take care of business against bottom placed The Gap in their match on Sunday. Acacia Ridge and Bayside has been postponed.
FQPL 3 Women’s
Southside Eagles and Ipswich City is the only game in the FQPL 3 Women’s competition regular scheduling this weekend. Evenly poised three points would be a huge step in the right direction for either side when they do battle on Saturday. In catch up matches Bethania host undefeated Toowong who are looking to continue their run with North Star also hosting the undefeated Mt Gravatt in their respective fixture.
