After a weekend off due to weather the FQPL 3 South Coast competitions are set to resume once again over the weekend! Here is a brief preview of what we can expect!
FQPL 3 Men’s
The initial Friday night game between Tallebudgera and Robina is postponed which means City haven’t played in over three weeks due to the weather. The early Saturday kick off sees Broadbeach and Southport lock horns in a big match up that could have top 4 implications. Burleigh Heads host the new look Nerang after a coaching change and some personnel swaps and will be eager to bounce back after their defeat two weeks ago. Palm Beach host Runaway Bay and look to continue their winning streak in the middle part of the season. Sunday’s match sees Kingscliff host Musgrave over the border with both sides needing all three points. The Wolves have an eye on a top four spot with the Mustangs desperate to get a win for their confidence after a tough month.
FQPL 3 Women’s
Mudgeeraba will host Kingscliff in their match up on Monday with both sides needing three points after recent defeats last time they both played. Palm Beach will be hoping to stop Robina’s momentum after their first win of the season last round when they host them at Duncan McKenna Field. League leaders Magic United welcome Broadbeach to their home ground in the final fixture with the Dolphins having a great month of action. Musgrave have the bye.
