Football Queensland has confirmed that tonight’s FQPL 2 Men’s and U23 Grand Finals will be moved to Carmichael Park, with kick-off times to remain as originally scheduled. 

The decision follows a full inspection of the field and playing conditions at Perry Park by FQ executives, club officials and groundskeepers. 

After considering the suitability of up to eight other venues across Brisbane and the Gold Coast and following discussions with management and staff from the impacted clubs, all parties involved agreed to move tonight’s Grand Finals to Carmichael Park to allow the two matches to proceed as scheduled. 

Entry will be made free of charge to tonight’s FQPL 2 Men’s and U23 Grand Finals, with all current ticket holders to be refunded by Football Queensland. 

All members of our football community are encouraged to get down to Carmichael Park to show their support for this event which kicks off a huge weekend of Finals football. Participants are encouraged to come prepared for inclement weather conditions.
