The achievements of the state’s most outstanding individuals and teams were celebrated at the 2022 Football in Queensland Awards Night held at Brisbane City Hall on Friday, 28 October.
Members of the football community from across the state gathered to celebrate the 2022 season as players, coaches, referees, volunteers and clubs were acknowledged at every level of the game.
In line with the implementation of the Future of Football 2020+ reforms, a new integrated statewide format was introduced for this year’s Football in Queensland Awards which saw award winners recognised at regional level across a number of categories before the highest achieving award recipients received the equivalent state awards at Friday night’s event.
Participants from advanced competitions within the state’s new connected football pyramid were also recognised with the introduction of new awards as part of an Advanced Club category, while new awards presented at regional and state level included the Protect Our Game Service awards and the Service to Football Gold and Platinum awards.
Congratulations to each of the winners who were presented with awards at the 2022 Football in Queensland Awards Night.
