The Mitre FQPL Champions League Men Regional Final will be held at Underwood Park this Saturday, 23 September as the year’s best regional sides go head-to-head for a spot in the 2023 Mitre FQPL Champions League Final.
“The Mitre FQPL Champions League Regional Final will be a huge occasion for Across The Waves FC (Central Coast Conference Premiers) and Leichhardt FC (Northern Conference Premiers), who are just two wins away from being crowned the FQPL Champions of Queensland,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“After the success of the tournament in 2022, this year we’ve seen the addition of the Mitre FQPL Champions League Women and an expanded format with the introduction of FQPL Whitsunday Coast Men’s and Women’s teams to deliver a truly exciting battle across Queensland’s three football conferences, South East Queensland, Central Coast and Northern.
“With the winner of the Regional Conference Final welcoming SEQ Conference FQPL 1 Men Premiers Surfers Paradise Apollo for the Mitre FQPL Champions League Final next month, this tournament is continuing to provide pathway opportunities for our state’s best regional players to showcase their talent on one of the biggest stages against high-quality opposition as part of the connected football pyramid.
“We wish each of the participating teams all the best for the Mitre FQPL Champions League Regional Final and look forward to seeing them in action this weekend.”
