Football Queensland is inviting the Queensland football community to submit their nominations for the annual Service to Football and Community awards in every region as part of the 2024 Football in Queensland Awards.
For the first time ever, this year the 2024 Football in Queensland Awards Night will be held as part of the inaugural Queensland Football Convention from Friday, 1 November to Sunday, 3 November 2024, which will bring together some of the best football minds from around Australia and the world to ‘Elevate the Debate’ and chart a bold new course for the game.
The winners of each award category from every region in Queensland will be recognised and will go on to represent their region as nominees for the state award as part of the integrated statewide format.
“Football Queensland is excited to invite nominations for the 2024 Football in Queensland Awards as we celebrate what has been a record-breaking year for football in our state,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“This year’s ceremony will be even more special as it is held as part of the inaugural Queensland Football Convention, during which the 2024 Football in Queensland Awards Night and our award winners from across the state will be recognised and play a role in the annual celebration of our game.
“As we begin to reach the latter stages of the football season here in Queensland, we’re looking for nominations to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of individuals and clubs across the state who have gone above and beyond both on and off the pitch.
“I encourage all members of our football community to nominate those who have made a significant impact this year, as we take the opportunity to celebrate the momentous 2024 season and those who worked hard behind the scenes to make it a success.”
Following the announcement of award recipients within each region across the state, the highest achieving community winners will be celebrated at state level at the 2024 Football in Queensland Awards Night at Brisbane City Hall.
