Football Queensland is excited to confirm that six Whitsunday Coast Grand Finals will be held at the BB Print Stadium for the first time on Saturday, 14 September 2024.
The Championship titles for FQPL Women and Men, FQPL Under 23 Women and Men and Division 1 and 2 Men will each be decided at the BB Print Stadium as the excitement of the 2024 season draws to an unmissable close.
“We are thrilled to wrap up such a successful year of football in the Whitsunday Coast region in 2024 by hosting our Grand Finals at the BB Print Stadium for the first time ever,” General Manager – Northern Conference Craig Ramage said.
“This is a momentous occasion for the football community in Whitsunday Coast as the growth and popularity of the game has seen the Grand Final move to the region’s major stadium, providing new and exciting matchday experiences for both players and spectators alike as this fantastic season concludes.
“Hosting all six games at the stadium provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to come down and experience an action-packed day watching the best football talent in the region as they display their skills on the biggest stage.
“I wish each of our participating teams and players all the best for their Grand Finals as we celebrate the end of another huge year of football across our region and state.”
The matchday schedule is as follows:
- 9:00am – Div 2 Men
- 11:00am – Div 1 Men
- 1:00pm – FQPL U23 Women
- 3:00pm – FQPL U23 Men
- 5:30pm – FQPL Women
- 8:00pm – FQPL Men
