Football Queensland’s statewide search for up-and-coming young futsal stars begins as the FQ Futsal State Titles nominations open for male and female teams from Under 12s to Under 17s and youth age groups. 

The 2024 edition of the tournament will be held at Nissan Arena from Saturday, 5 to Monday, 7 October 2024, and will see the best junior and youth futsal players from every region in Queensland gather to compete against their peers to determine who will be crowned age group and overall club Champion. 

“The FQ Futsal State Titles are an exciting and premier event on the futsal calendar as we see the-best-of-the-best youth and junior Queensland futsal players battle it out for title glory and officially kick off the Summer Futsal season,” Football Queensland Manager – Futsal Vince Sciacca said.  

“After the excitement of kicking off 2024 hosting the National Futsal Championships on the Gold Coast, I am sure that this year’s edition of the FQ Futsal State Titles will be even bigger and better with plenty of young players inspired to excel in the game.  

“The FQ Futsal State Titles play an important role in the FQ Futsal State Team talent ID and selection process, with high-performing players identified and invited by FQ coaching and technical staff to trial for Queensland state teams. 

“As a key event in the statewide futsal development pathway, the state titles will deliver high-quality match minutes for our young players as they not only have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent but also to obtain advanced in-game experience and represent their region.” 

Clubs and teams from every region in the state are encouraged to participate.
