Football Queensland (FQ) has today released the match draws for the 2024 Futsal State Titles, an exciting showcase of the state’s most talented young futsal players to be held from Saturday, 5 October to Monday, 7 October at Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
The 2024 Futsal State Titles will unite over 26 teams and 1,100 promising young athletes from across Queensland as they compete in high quality matches across various age groups, including U12 to U16 Boys, U13, U15, U17 Girls, and Youth Men and Women, all striving for championship glory.
“The Futsal State Titles provide a fantastic opportunity for our young athletes to come together and compete against high-calibre opponents they may not typically encounter, whilst also getting extra opportunities to hone their skills in a competitive environment,” Football Queensland Manager – Futsal Vince Sciacca said.
“Building on the success of last year’s tournament, this year promises to be bigger and better as more than 270 games will be played between teams from regions across the entire state, each showcasing their skills and vying for age group champion and overall club champion titles.
“This competition serves as a critical steppingstone within FQ’s futsal academy pathways, contributing to the development of future futsal talent in the region as our FQ coaching and technical staff will closely observe player performances, using this tournament as an important component for future state team selection.
“The Futsal State Titles are a flagship tournament for our sport in Queensland, setting the stage for the upcoming FQ Academy Futsal League 1, which kicks off the following week and helps to lay the groundwork for the players’ futures in futsal, fostering greater passion and growth in the game.”
