Football Queensland has confirmed the final composition of the NPL Queensland, FQPL 1 and 2 and FQPL 3 – 6 Metro leagues for Men and Women in 2025.
The release of the final Declaration of Leagues follows the completion of the affiliation and licensing process for clubs from the NPL Queensland to the FQPL 6 Metro competition.
“Queensland’s connected football pyramid continues to provide exciting opportunities for players and teams who are striving to advance to the next level as we see a number of teams promoted to higher leagues after strong performances in the 2024 season,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“The composition of leagues for 2025 will continue to deliver 12-team competitions across Queensland’s premier men’s competitions which form the upper tiers of the statewide connected football pyramid, whilst the women’s top tiers will consist of 10-team competitions across the top tiers.
“Clubs have been undertaking the affiliation and licensing application process in recent months to ensure they comply with relevant criteria in order to be confirmed in a position in their attributed league.
“With the composition of the NPL Queensland, FQPL 1 and 2 and FQPL 3-6 Metro Leagues for Men and Women now confirmed for 2025, we look forward to seeing these teams back out on the pitch next year for another action-packed season.”
