Football Queensland has unveiled the ball allocations for Rounds 3-6 of the 2025 Kappa Queensland Cup and the Round of 16 for the Kappa Queensland Cup – Youth draws, setting the stage for more thrilling encounters as clubs from across the state battle for top honours.
The opening rounds saw intense regional clashes, with rising challengers pushing established powerhouses in classic battles of old versus new. As the competition heats up, the upcoming senior Men’s and Women’s rounds and the youth Rounds of 16 and Quarterfinals promise even more drama, passion, and high-stakes football.
In the Kappa Queensland Cup – Women, FQPL 1 & 2 sides will enter in Round 3 alongside the remaining teams from the FQPL 3 competition, with NPL Women’s sides joining in Round 4.
In the Men’s competition, Round 4 will see both NPL Queensland and FQPL 1 Men’s sides enter the competition, as well as the merging of the remaining Wide Bay and Central Coast regional teams.
Round 5 will further consolidate the competition, bringing together the remaining teams from Wide Bay, Central Coast, Whitsunday Coast, Northern, and Far North & Gulf regions, leading into the Men’s Regional Final in Round 6.
The Kappa Queensland Cup – Men also serves as a qualifying tournament for the Hahn Australia Cup, with the top four men’s teams to enter the national tournament in the Round of 32 as the state’s representatives.
The same four teams will continue to compete in the Semi Finals and a Final of the Kappa Queensland Cup to decide the State Champions.
