Football Queensland is thrilled to announce a three-year extension of its partnership with global AI-powered sports recording leader, Veo Technologies.
The exciting extension of the partnership, originally announced in 2021, reaffirms Veo as FQ’s Official Video Technology Partner, and entitles affiliated clubs and members to a $300 discount on a camera and subscription bundle purchase.
NPL, FQPL 1 & 2 and FQ Academy Leagues clubs will have additional access to the Veo League Exchange platform, allowing them to access and share match recordings seamlessly through a centralised platform to elevate the standard of play across all age groups.
“The strong relationship that has developed between Football Queensland and Veo over the last five years has been to the benefit of the entire Queensland football community,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“Used by thousands of clubs worldwide, Veo’s cameras have provided FQ clubs with an affordable way to record and analyse training and matches with market leading AI follow-cam technology, negating the need for an operator.
“The partnership extension demonstrates FQ’s commitment to delivering on the goals outlined in the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, with embracing technology to deliver programs at a high standard remaining a key objective.
“Football Queensland is actively investing in the development and experience of Queensland players and coaches. By providing high quality, affordable resources to clubs, we aim to encourage and support our passionate community of coaches to continuously improve the level of delivery.”
With video analysis becoming increasingly relied upon within the game, Veo’s technology has been crucial for Queensland clubs in identifying key areas of strength and improvement on the pitch.
The partnership extension will deliver benefits particularly to FQ Academy programs statewide including the FQ Academy QAS and Queensland state teams through access to Veo technology for talent identification and player development purposes.
Veo ANZ Market Manager, Tenzing Tsewang said he was pleased to continue contributing to the development of the game in Queensland through the extension of the partnership.
“We are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with the Queensland football community, providing cutting-edge technology to elevate the game at all levels,” Tsewang said.
“By offering our AI-powered Veo Cam 3 and comprehensive analysis tools, we aim to make professional-grade video analysis accessible to every club, coach, and player in Queensland. This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering talent development and enhancing the football experience across the state.”
