Football Queensland has concluded its investigation into the alleged fielding of an ineligible player by Lions FC in the Kappa Queensland Cup Women’s Round 5 fixture between Capalaba FC and Lions FC on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.

Football Queensland has determined that Lions FC fielded an ineligible player in the fixture in accordance with the 2025 Kappa Queensland Cup Rules of Competition.

Accordingly and in line with the Rules of Competition, the result of this match has been overturned and recorded as a 3-0 win in favour of Capalaba FC, who will progress to the Kappa Queensland Cup Women Quarter Finals.
