Football Queensland is excited to invite the Queensland football community to submit their nominations for the annual Service to Football and Community awards in every region as part of the upcoming 2025 Football in Queensland Awards.
The winners of each award category will be recognised within their region and will go on to represent their region as nominees for the equivalent state awards, to be presented at the 2025 Queensland Football Gala.
Helping to connect the state’s brightest footballing minds, and to further strengthen the future of our game, the Queensland Football Gala will be held as part of the Queensland Football Convention for the second year running, on Saturday, 25 October and Sunday, 26 October.
“Football Queensland is thrilled to invite nominations for the 2025 Football in Queensland Awards, as we celebrate what has been a tremendous year of growth for football in our state,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“After the success of the inaugural Queensland Football Convention, the Queensland Football Gala will again be held in parallel with the Queensland Football Convention this year, creating a special and unified occasion in an apt celebration of our game.
“As the curtains are drawn on yet another fantastic season in 2025, we’re looking for nominations for the people who, through their selfless contributions and efforts on and off the pitch, allowed our game to run smoothly and successfully this year.
“I urge everyone in our football community to nominate individuals who have made a meaningful contribution to our game this year, as we reflect on a landmark 2025 season and acknowledge the dedication of those who worked behind the scenes to ensure its success.”
Following the announcement of award recipients within each region across the state, the highest achieving community winners will be celebrated at state level at the 2025 Queensland Football Gala at Brisbane City Hall.
