Football Queensland has concluded its investigation into the alleged fielding of an ineligible player by New Farm United in the FQPL 4 Metro Men Semi Final fixture between Moggill FC and New Farm United on Sunday, 31 August 2025.

While Football Queensland acknowledges that the club acted in good faith in attempting to comply with FQ Regulations, it has been determined that New Farm United fielded an ineligible player in the fixture in accordance with the 2025 FQ Statewide Rules of Competition and Football Queensland Disciplinary Regulations.

Accordingly and in line with the Rules of Competition, the result of this match has been overturned and recorded as a 3-0 win in favour of Moggill FC, who will progress to the FQPL 4 Metro Men Grand Final.
