Gold Coast Knights FC have been named Football Queensland’s Club Changer Club of the Month for October 2025, recognised for their outstanding commitment to Marketing and Communications.
Throughout 2025, Knights have achieved significant milestones both on and off the field. Their continued investment in coach and player development has strengthened performance across all programs, while their female program has seen exceptional growth and success. This progress has been further supported by the completion of new female changing room facilities, including dedicated medical and referee spaces, bringing the club’s total to 10 change rooms.
Gold Coast Knights have also retained their ‘Gold’ Academy status and currently rank second in Queensland, further cementing their position as one of the state’s leading development hubs. Their achievements were topped off by becoming just the second club in Australia to achieve Club Changer 3-Star status, a remarkable milestone reflecting their holistic commitment to club excellence.
A major contributor to their ongoing success has been a strategic focus on marketing and communications. The club has appointed a full-time Media Officer, supported by a professional team of videographers and photographers, ensuring consistent, high-quality content that showcases the club’s achievements and strengthens community engagement.
The Club Changer program has played an instrumental role in supporting Gold Coast Knights’ growth, providing dedicated templates and clear blueprints to help plan projects, set timelines, and define roles and responsibilities. The program’s practical modules and associated questionnaires have enabled the club to go beyond surface-level improvements and embed genuine, sustainable change across all areas of operation.
By embracing the Club Changer framework, Gold Coast Knights have been able to achieve progress rapidly and strategically the ‘S.M.A.R.T way’ both on and off the field, setting a strong example for other clubs across Queensland.
