social football for women & girls
Girls United Social Football is all about creating fun, social football environments for women and girls to boost their confidence, build fitness and make friends.
Formats are flexible, including programs to develop skills, as well as social competitions and carnivals. Women and girls of all skill and experience levels are encouraged to attend, with sessions focusing on fun and enjoyment.
A great option for women who haven’t got the time to commit to the traditional training and game format of club football, or for those who want to build their skills and confidence before moving into a club football team.

Come & Try
If you’ve never played football before, our free Come & Try sessions are a relaxed, social introduction to football involving fun activities and small-sided games, the perfect entry to Girls United before signing up for the weekly Social Sessions.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes, runners or football boots, and bring a water bottle.
Girls United social sessions provide women and girls with a soft entry to football through weekly sessions focused on fun football games that teach basic skills. Social sessions provide an alternative option for women to start their football journey before progressing to competitive football.
Schools
Hosted at schools statewide, Girls United Schools is an entry-level program for girls involving a series of 4 gamified skill sessions that aim to teach football skills in a fun and engaging way.
School Staff: If you would like to host a program at your school, please complete the following expression of interest form: Expression of Interest Form – Girls United Schools
