Clubs Shared Best Practice
The Clubs Shared Best Practice is a series of webinars and workshops delivered by selected Queensland clubs to share their knowledge and expertise on a range of key areas including Program Planning, Coaching Methodology, Principles of Periodisation, High-Performance Support, Workload and Wellbeing monitoring and more.
Workshops
Coach Education Workshops will be delivered face-to-face, providing the opportunity for Continued Professional Development (CPD) points for participating coaches. Attending workshops will allow participants the opportunity to network with fellow coaches and instructors from clubs, FQ and FA.
Webinars
Coach Education Webinars will be delivered online, providing the opportunity for Continued Professional Development (CPD) points for participating coaches. Coaches can also access previous webinars delivered in by clicking here.
FQ Coaches Lab
The FQ Coaches Lab provides a valuable opportunity for community coaches, Club Coach Coordinators and those who have recently completed a C Licence to gain extra advice and support, with a key focus on session design and delivery. The informal workshop format will allow coaches in attendance to be grouped in order to receive tailored guidance based on the age and level of the players they’re coaching.
CPD Hours
As mandated in the AFC Coaching Convention, from 1st January 2019 all Football Australia Advanced Coaching Licences are valid (accredited) for three consecutive years. New licenses will be issued for three years, and existing licenses will be revalidated for three years when re-validation is due.

Over 1000 passionate fans came through the gates at Martens Oval on Saturday as Bundaberg hosted another hugely successful #KappaProSeries showdown 👏
Brisbane City and Moreton City Excelsior delivered an entertaining 1–1 draw, but the real highlight was the incredible engagement from the local football community.
Across two massive days, the event was brought to life through a range of activations, including:
✨ Advanced Skills Clinic hosted by Moreton City for 50+ talented juniors
✨ U10 Mini Series with Brisbane City, Across the Waves & the FQ Wide Bay Academy
✨ FQ x Brisbane Roar Clinic with strong community participation
✨ Junior Match Official course developing our next generation of referees
✨ Coaching Workshop with local coaches learning directly from MCE coach Cam Millar and Brisbane City coach Peter Gaffney
✨ Kappa Queensland Cup Men’s fixture between Across the Waves and UPE
Thank you to The Waves Sports Club for their continued support of this event. Taking our professional leagues into regional Queensland continues to be an important way to strengthen pathways and showcase the opportunities available to aspiring young footballers across the state. Bundaberg once again showed just how powerful these engagements can be.
