Queensland’s U14 State Teams took charge with a pair of well-earned wins on day three of the FFA National Youth Championships for Boys in Coffs Harbour.

Ken Mitchell’s squad now sit joint-second in Group B, just one point off top spot with two matches to play.
Joshua Moreland then scored two late goals to earn U13 Metro a 2-2 draw against Capital Football, before the limelight fell on U14 Metro in the afternoon.
Paul Wilton’s team eased to their first win of the tournament with Brodie Boyce, Jack Beardsley, Theophile Karenzo and Joshua Hong all on the scoresheet in the 4-1 result.
