The 2017 Westfield FFA Cup kicked off last week in Queensland with 18 action packed games over four days.
The opening match saw Capital League 2 side Pine Rivers FC snatch the winning goal in emphatic fashion. With the match destined for extra time, a Mark Skoda header in injury time saw the Predators overcome Narangba United 2-1.
Pine Rivers will be joined by Park Ridge FC, Centenary Stormers, Annerley FC, Samford Rangers, Tarragindi Tigers FC, Ipswich City FC, Brisbane Force SC, Mt Gravatt Hawks, New Farm United, Acacia Ridge SC, Springfield United FC, The Gap FC, Redcliffe PCYC, Bethania Rams, Pine Hills FC, Toowong FC and St George Willawong FC in Brisbane’s Preliminary Round 3. Clubs will learn their fate on Wednesday 15, February at Football Brisbane’s Flight Centre Premier League and Mt Franklin Women’s Premier League season launch where the next metro draw will be held.
The last metro spot will be determined on Tuesday night as Virginia United take on Western Spirit FC.
