Round 13 of the National Premier Leagues Women’s (NPLW) marks the halfway point of the season with Gold Coast United FC hosting Lions FC in the Match of the Round.
The NPLW Match of the Round can be viewed live and on demand on the FQ website, FQ Facebook and FQ YouTube channel.
Lions come into the match with their undefeated record still intact after claiming a 2-1 win over Capalaba FC last weekend.
Two first half goals from Sofie Persson and Tegan Riding in the space of 14 minutes ultimately sealed the victory for the home side.
They will be looking to keep their current streak of five wins alive to put the pressure on Moreton Bay United at the top of the ladder.
Meanwhile, Gold Coast head into the game off the back of a 5-2 loss to league leaders Moreton Bay.
Gold Coast sit four points outside the top four so finals are still a reality for the team with the second half of the season to look forward to.
The last time the two sides came face-to-face was in Round 16 last season, with Lions keeping a clean sheet and scoring five goals.
