The second Football Queensland (FQ) Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP) carnival for 2019 will be held this weekend at Logan Football Complex.
The U11 SAP carnival will be held on Saturday, 15 June and Sunday, 16 June and feature teams from across the state.
In addition to 19 South East Queensland (SEQ) based teams including Gold Coast United, Brisbane Strikers and Caloundra FC, five teams will travel from other parts of Queensland for the carnival.
U11 teams from SWQ Thunder, Magpies Crusaders (Mackay), North Queensland, Wide Bay and Far North Queensland (FNQ) will compete against their peers from other parts of the state in this weekend’s SAP carnival.
FNQ SAP Head Coach Zenon Caravella said bringing players together from across Queensland to play each other was beneficial for all players involved.
“They get to play tough games, they have to think quicker, pass quicker; this is how they can really improve, so the more meets we have like this with like-minded players is fantastic.”
