The Grand Finals for the South East Queensland (SEQ) Football will be held at Park Ridge FC (Hubner Rd, Park Ridge) this Friday, 13 September 2019.
The SEQ Football League sector is made up of three divisions, with an emphasis placed on community-based teams, many of which feature players from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Among the Grand Finalists in Division One are Brazilian-based team Braza FC, and a side who have Croatian heritage in Brisbane Knights.
The Division Two Grand Final features Logan City Kings, a Togolese-based team who will take on a Logan Metro FC Academy side consisting of youth from the local community from a broad range of cultural backgrounds.
The Division Three Grand Final will see local Zimbabwean team Reggae Boyz take on Coomera FC.
Division One Grand Final
The Division One Grand Final features two clubs in Braza FC and Brisbane Knights that could only be separated by goal difference, after finishing the League campaign level on 42 points.
It was Braza FC who finished top in their first season playing together as a team, with a Semi Final win over Brisbane Knights sending them straight into the Grand Final.
However, after an unbeaten home and away season, Brisbane Knights defeated Old Bridge last week to book themselves a spot in the Grand Final this Friday night.
