Only one round of the Football Queensland E-Series competition’s First Group Stage remains for the Xbox Seniors, with the final match to be played by end of day tomorrow.
The First Group Stage draws to a close tomorrow not only for the Xbox Seniors, but also for the first few pools of other competitions.
Round 10 of the First Group Stage wrapped up earlier this week for PS4 Juniors, PS4 Seniors and Xbox Seniors participants.
Players representing Gold Coast clubs have dominated in the PS4 Juniors competition, sitting in the top two spots on the table in eight of the 12 SEQ pools after 10 rounds.
In SEQ Pool G, Gold Coast United representatives are currently locked on points in first and second, while the top three spots in the Regional Pool A table are occupied by participants representing Rockhampton’s Bluebirds United FC.
In the PS4 Seniors competition meanwhile, players representing Brisbane clubs are topping many of the SEQ pools.
Brothers Townsville participants are topping both regional pools in the Xbox Seniors competition, while Toowoomba-based participants representing South Toowoomba Hawks and Willowburn FC sit in first and second in SEQ Pool A.
Next Round Deadlines
Xbox Juniors participants are reminded that their round deadlines for the remainder of the First Group Stage have changed. Find out more and see updated deadlines here.
By this Sunday, 10 May, Xbox Juniors participants must have played their Round 11, 12 and 13 matches.
Xbox Seniors, PS4 Juniors and PS4 Seniors must play their Round 11 matches by tomorrow, Sunday 10 May.
Removal of players from the FQ E-Series
A number of players across all four competitions have been removed from the FQ E-Series after failing to complete three consecutive matches or attempt to contact their opponent on three occasions.
This means that all players will now record a bye for upcoming fixtures when facing an opponent who has been removed from the competition. For this reason, all matches previously recorded as a 3-0 win due to a forfeit of a player who has been removed will now show as a bye instead to ensure consistency across the rounds. SportsTG has been updated accordingly.
