The Second Group Stage of the Football Queensland (FQ) E-Series competition kicked off over the weekend as over 300 participants competed in Round 1 matches.
Second Group Stage draws and pool allocations were revealed late last week after players booked their spot in the second stage of the competition.
While competitors were split based on region for the First Group Stage, players from both regional and South East Queensland will now go head to head across eight pools in each competition.
Every participant will play against each opponent in their pool once throughout the second stage of the FQ E-Series, before the top four players from each progress to the Knockout Stage of the competition, beginning with the Round of 32.
Players from around the state opened their Second Group Stage campaign with a victory, securing an important three points as the second stage of competition begins.

Round Deadlines
Round deadlines for all participants in the Second Group Stage of the FQ E-Series are 11:59pm on Sunday and Wednesday each week. Each fixture must be completed by 11:59pm on the deadline day.
Scheduling a match with your opponent
For every fixture, both competitors are required to add each other using their respective Xbox Gamertags or PSN, as listed on SportsTG. The two players must then communicate to arrange an exact match time.
Players are reminded that they must ensure their console privacy settings are set to public, so their opponent is able to find them when searching for their Gamertag/PSN ID.
If you have any issues e.g. your Gamertag is not correct on SportsTG, please let us know as soon as possible at marketing@footballqueensland.com.au
Submitting Results
The Result Form available on the Football Queensland website must be completed and submitted to Football Queensland before the fixture deadline as indicated on SportsTG.
If a Result Form is not submitted, is submitted after the deadline, or submitted without a clear photo, the result may be deemed a 0-0 draw or a forfeit for one or both teams (3-0 loss).
If a player does not complete a match for three consecutive scheduled fixtures or receives three disputes in a row for failing to reply to an opponent, they will be excluded from the tournament immediately.
More information on this is available in the FQ E-Series Competition Rules.
