Football Queensland (FQ) recently confirmed season restart dates for all NPL and FQPL competitions for the remainder of the 2020 season. Start dates for GPS competitions have also been confirmed.
- NPL Juniors: Friday, 17 July
- NPL Men’s and Women’s: Friday, July 24
- FQPL: Friday, July 24
- GPS: Friday, 17 July
Competition Rule Changes
A number of changes to the NPL Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and FQPL competition rules concerning substitutions and interchange have been confirmed.

Pre-season Friendly Appointments
South-East Queensland referees can apply for pre-season appointments in their zone for GPS, NPL Seniors and Juniors competitions.
Matches for NPL Seniors and Juniors will commence on the weekend of Friday, 10 July to Thursday, 23 July with GPS trial matches available from Saturday, 11 July from 8am.
In support of clubs affected by COVID-19, referee fees will equate to half the normal amount.
To be appointed to pre-season matches, referees must register and update their availability in schedula.
Please note: Only those that register will be appointed and may only get 48hrs notice prior to matches as fixture times are yet to be confirmed by clubs and GPS.
