Football Queensland (FQ) will host three Club Summits in South West Queensland and one in Wide Bay next week as part of the Future of Football 2020+ consultation process.
Three Club Summits hosted by FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci will be held in Stanthorpe, Toowoomba and Kingaroy on the weekend commencing Friday, 31 July, before another Summit is held in Childers on Sunday, 2 August.
“This extensive consultation process we’re embarking on with the Future of Football 2020+ is the first of its kind in the state, so we’re excited to hear from members of our football community across Queensland as we work together to shape a bright future for our game,” Cavallucci said.
“We’ve already received great feedback through Club Summits held in Cairns and Townsville, and we look forward to building on this as we meet with clubs, referees and coaches in South West Queensland and Wide Bay next week.”
FQ’s Club Summits will invite the South West Queensland and Wide Bay football community to engage in discussion around four key areas of the game; governance, administration, competitions and affordability.
The venues for the four upcoming Club Summits will be confirmed in the coming days.
