Football Queensland (FQ) is delighted to launch a series of Club Support Hub webinars for Queensland clubs in partnership with CPR Group, Australia’s leading sports governance and community development specialists.
“The launch of Football Queensland’s new club webinars builds on the successful implementation of the Club Support Hub, which was developed to provide increased support to our clubs and volunteers at all levels of the game,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“We’re extremely excited to partner with CPR Group to deliver a series of club-focused webinars in the coming months, which will provide practical advice and guidance on a range of topics including building strong club committees, delivering AGMs, managing club finances and budgets, and applying for funding and grants.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening community clubs across Queensland, the webinars have been designed to provide club administrators with a valuable insight into the content of the Club Support Hub guides, and how they can be implemented to improve clubs of all sizes.
“Kicking off in June, the first four webinars will be delivered in three-week intervals before two webinars focusing on infrastructure improvements and participation are held during the off-season.
“We encourage all community clubs to register and attend the upcoming webinars to learn more about how to strengthen their club operations and how to make the job easier for their dedicated volunteers.”
“CPR Group is committed to helping volunteers in sport achieve great results and build strong, sustainable clubs,” CPR Group Managing Director Michael Connelly said.
“We look forward to working as Football Queensland’s preferred provider of club governance support and training, to help build the strongest football clubs in the country.
“The range of exciting and interactive webinars that we have scheduled throughout 2021 will be filled with great tips for clubs of all sizes.”
