Football Queensland can today reveal the NPL All Stars Women’s squad for the double-header against Brisbane Roar at Perry Park on Saturday, 13 November.
The NPL All Stars Women’s squad includes 23 players from seven NPL Queensland clubs, with ex-Matilda Amy Chapman set to line up alongside a host of former A-League Women’s players and young guns from the QAS.
Lions FC coach Rob Askew and former Moreton Bay United boss David Da Silva will coach the side.

FQ President Ben Richardson congratulated the players who earned a spot in the 2021 NPL All Stars Women’s squad.
“The NPL All Stars is all about rewarding players who have excelled throughout the season and providing them an opportunity to be exposed to new environments,” said Richardson.
“Many of the current Brisbane Roar players have come through the NPL pathway, including Shea Connors, Cannon Clough, Mariel Hecher and Jamilla Rankin.
“Shea and Cannon both featured in the NPL All Stars and Queensland teams in last season’s Kappa Festival of Football, proving that these games are a brilliant shop window for the players.
“There will also be a familiar face on the sideline, with QAS Head Coach Garrath McPherson taking over as Head Coach of the Roar Women.
“This is a great opportunity for Queensland football fans to watch our best NPL players come up against the state’s premier football club.”
