Football Queensland has today released competition calendars for all nine regions, creating a unified schedule across Queensland for 2022.
The calendars show all football activities throughout the state, from MiniRoos through to FQPL competitions and the NPL Queensland.
FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said the new initiative would allow each region to look forward to the season ahead and plan around key dates during the year.
“The release of Football Queensland’s competition calendars aligns participants across the state and at every level of the game,” said Cavallucci.
“Participants from each of the nine regions will be able to download their own competition calendar outlining the schedule of all football activities in 2022.
“Included in these calendars are dates for state and national events such as FQ Academy Carnivals, Kappa Women’s Super Cup and the FFA Cup.
“Themed rounds such as Indigenous Round and Women’s Football Round will also be aligned across every region.
“With the implementation of governance reforms and the rollout of connected competitions, the release of competition calendars reflects our continued commitment to unite football in Queensland.”
