A weekend off will prove to be a massive boost for some teams as they prepare for the middle part of the season. Here is what to expect from this weekend’s action
FQPL 3 Men’s
It’s tight in the middle part of the table in the Men’s competition with three points separating second and eighth. Some expected wins from the current top teams are on course with St George taking on The Gap and Toowong facing Western Spirit. The top four race hasn’t even truly begun but Newmarket and Pine Hills will be looking to get the edge as they continue to fight for spots. The match up between The Lakes and Bayside square off in the pick of the games with both sides having title aspirations for the season ahead. Both UQFC and Mt Gravatt will be hoping to register their first wins of the season as they are the only teams without one so far.
FQPL 3 Women’s
North Brisbane are flying high at the top of the table and will look to continue their run against North Star this weekend. The remainder of the competition will be hoping to keep up the pace as a slight gap is beginning to appear amongst the teams this season. Toowong and Southside Eagles are set to do battle at Dunmore Park in the pick of the matches this weekend with Caboolture and Mt Gravatt hoping to continue their pursuit at the top end of the table against Springfield and Slacks Creek respectively.
