The final day of the 2022 FQPL 3 South Coast Men’s season is upon us and what a weekend of action ahead. Here is a brief preview of what to expect from both the Men’s and the Women’s.
Men’s
Palm Beach will be looking to cap off their season with a victory against Tallebudgera in the only game not kicking off at 5pm this weekend. Runaway Bay and Nerang face off in a dead rubber for both teams looking to cap off a tough season with a win. All three remaining games have a vital part to play in the end of the season, starting with Southport and Robina facing off at Ashmore Village Park. The home side need a draw to secure a finals berth while Robina will be eager to apply the pressure on Broadbeach for the league title. The Dolphins have a tricky trip to Keith Hunt Park to complete the season as they look to secure the league title and a play-off berth. Kingscliff will be eager for Robina to get a win and to do the business against Burleigh at home to advance to the playoffs on goal difference.
Women’s
Magic United host Premiership winners Musgrave on Monday night looking to continue their fight for 2nd spot. Kingscliff welcome Palm Beach south of the border anticipating a tough clash against the Sharks who have been in form. Broadbeach will be expected to win against Robina City as they look to finish as high as possible in their three way race with Magic and Palm Beach. Mudgeeraba have the bye.
