Football Queensland (FQ) has confirmed the draw details for Round 5 and 6 of the Australia Cup, as well as the Round of 16 and Quarter Finals of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup (KWSC), for all remaining regional teams.
Fixtures for both tournaments will be released tomorrow, Friday 31 March, as teams from across each region connect to vie for a spot in the next round.
These rounds will see the Australia Cup regional winner from Round 6 joining the remaining seven SEQ teams for a chance to become one of four Queensland teams progressing to the Round of 32 in the national stage of the competition.
In the KWSC, the regional Quarter Final winner will also join the remaining three SEQ teams in the competition’s Semi Finals.
There have been an adjustments made to the initial regional draw due to logistical and resourcing issues. Mt Isa will now host the Far North conference teams in Round 4 of both tournaments, with the matches taking place on Saturday, 22 April.
In Round 5 of the Australia Cup and the KWSC Round of 16, MA Olympic will travel to play the winner of the Far North & Gulf fixture between the Cairns and Mt Isa sides.
