Football Queensland is thrilled to announce that nominations for the Female Football Week Awards have opened for 2025.
The Female Football Week Awards acknowledge individuals and clubs across the state for their outstanding efforts and achievements within the Queensland football community.
Winners will be featured across FQ’s website and social media pages from Friday, 2 May to Sunday, 11 May as part of a week-long celebration of our accomplished women and girls across the state.
“The Female Football Week Awards are a fantastic way to recognise the integral role that women play across the game, both on and off the field,” Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci stated.
“Football Queensland is committed to achieving 50/50 gender parity by 2027 and is focused on creating more opportunities for the recruitment, retention and recognition of talented female participants throughout our Queensland football community.
“The Women and Girls strategy outlines FQ’s commitment to creating an environment where women and girls feel welcomed, valued and empowered at every level, so we’re excited to celebrate the achievements of our state Female Football Award winners who will represent Queensland as nominees for the national awards.”
Any FQ affiliated individual who matches the criteria whilst supporting their club and community is eligible to be nominated for these awards.
