Football Queensland (FQ) is pleased to announce Staying Alive Health as its sole preferred Heart Health and AED partner for the next three years.
The partnership with Staying Alive Health will provide comprehensive grant writing services to Football Queensland affiliated clubs and regional hubs, in relation to defibrillation products.
“We’re delighted to partner with Staying Alive Health to provide clubs across Queensland with access to easy-to-use defibrillators, ensuring that our football clubs and venues are safe environments for those in our football community,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“Staying Alive Health will help clubs identify relevant funding opportunities and assist clubs in the preparation and submitting of high-quality grant applications.
“Football Queensland is passionate and serious about ensuring the safety of members in our football community and believe that Staying Alive Health will provide essential education and access to key first-aid equipment to our clubs and volunteers.”
“At Staying Alive Health, we’ve installed thousands of monitored defibrillators across Australia, but this partnership we are particularly stoked about! Grassroots sport is the heartbeat of so many communities, and we’re proud to help make every football club across Queensland safer, with the latest technology and full monitoring support to ensure the units are always ready when they’re needed most,” Ben Collins, Staying Alive Health Managing Director said.
“We see a massive opportunity to not only give back to grassroots Football in Queensland, but also raise awareness and prevention around one of Australia’s largest killers in Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
“This partnership isn’t just about supplying defibrillators, it’s about empowering clubs with the education, training, and confidence to act in an emergency. We’re committed to working alongside Football Queensland to upskill volunteers, coaches and members across the state.
“We thank Robert, the FQ team and footballing community for the opportunity and look forward to seeing every ground in Queensland heart safe 24/7.”
