Football Queensland has concluded its investigation into the alleged fielding of an ineligible player by Souths United in the NPL Women Round 21 fixture between FQ Academy QAS and Souths United on Wednesday, 6 August 2025.

Football Queensland has determined that Souths United fielded an ineligible player in the fixture in accordance with the 2025 FQ Advanced Rules of Competition.

Accordingly and in line with the Rules of Competition, the result of this match has been overturned and recorded as a 3-0 win in favour of FQ Academy QAS.
