Football Queensland (FQ) can confirm the members of the Technical Working Group that has been established to make recommendations regarding the structure of Queensland football competitions over the coming months.
The Technical Working Group will be chaired by FQ board member Jon McKain and consist of a group of Technical Directors from across the SEQ region, including National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland, the National Premier Leagues Women’s (NPLW) Queensland and the Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL).
Representatives from the following clubs have been selected for the Technical Working Group; Brisbane City, Brisbane Strikers, Moreton Bay United, Gold Coast United, Sunshine Coast Wanderers, Souths United, Lions FC, Logan Lightning and Rochedale Rovers.
The Technical Working Group will also be supported by FQ board member Robert Cavallucci, FQ State Technical Director Gabor Ganczer, FQ General Manager – Operations, Compliance and Game Development Murray Bird and incoming Brisbane Roar FC Academy Director Warren Moon.
The Technical Working Group’s first meeting will be held next week, with participating clubs encouraged to communicate and collaborate with other clubs not on the panel to form views to bring to the group. Minutes of meetings will also be distributed across all stakeholder clubs.
