Football Queensland’s Girls United Social Leagues kicked off for the first time in Gladstone, Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg last week, alongside the return of the competition in Rockhampton.
Offering small-sided games with a social atmosphere and played over an 8 to 10-week block, Girls United Social Leagues are perfect for women and girls new to the game or who still wish to play competitive, but social football.
Building on the success of the launch of Girls United in Rockhampton last year, the Central Conference Leagues now include 20 teams and approximately 160 women and girls across the four leagues.
