With over 300,000 registered participants across 308 clubs, Football Queensland is proud to partner with TAFE Queensland to offer students a nationally recognised Diploma of Sport (SIS50321) contextualised to the football industry.
This immersive 12-month program is delivered face-to-face from TAFE Queensland’s South Bank campus and is part of a centralised hub model, where students from multiple sports associations learn together while engaging in real-world experiences connected to their sport.
What You’ll Learn

Work-Integrated Learning with Football Queensland
Students complete a minimum of 70 hours of work-integrated learning (WIL) directly with Football Queensland. This includes opportunities to support coaching clinics, development programs, events, and operational activities — giving you first-hand experience inside a leading state sporting organisation.
You’ll also take part in up to four full-class field trips per year to Football Queensland venues, including exclusive sessions with industry guest speakers and behind-the-scenes access to core business operations.

Delivered centrally from TAFE Queensland’s South Bank campus, this 12-month course is part of our Sports Diploma Hub, where students from multiple sporting codes come together to gain real-world experience through field trips, networking, and hands-on projects.
