Football Queensland is set to host the state’s largest junior football carnival as WinterFest22 kicks off this week from Wednesday, 6 July.
Delivered in partnership with Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast, WinterFest will be held across five days at Maroochydore FC and will welcome participants from every region.
“WinterFest22 is set to be a fantastic celebration of our game featuring events for the whole family to enjoy,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“We look forward to welcoming over 50 teams from around Queensland to the Sunshine Coast, as they compete in over 400 matches in the state’s premier event for junior boys and girls.
“We’d also like to thank Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast for their support in delivering WinterFest22.
“In addition to the on-field action, families will be able to enjoy the many attractions the Sunshine Coast has to offer including the pristine beaches, a visit to Australia Zoo, shopping at Maroochydore Plaza and many more.
“We wish all players and coaches the best of luck over the next five days and hope they enjoy their visit to the beautiful Sunshine Coast.”
